New design for the site. I decided that after a year, it was time for my site to have a facelift. Along with the new design, there is also a new name!
The new name "Kira Kira designs" is strictly the name of my portfolio site, not my new business name or anything like that. I've also tried to go through my portfolio and eliminate any illustrations that I feel do not reflect my current style or work.

I still regularly try to update my blog. It's evolved more into a crafting/lifestyle blog where I post my thoughts on what's going on with me. I plan to revamp that design to either match this site or make it different to reflect that it doesn't necessarily directly relate to my professional work.

I've always loved eating sushi. It's actually not that difficult to make. I did this illustration for fun.
This is one of a series of tropical inspired geishas I created. Being of Japanese ancestry and growing up in Hawaii both influenced this series.
